Get some fish in Fishing Simulator!

Just as the title suggests, you go fishing! Sounds kind of boring, right? Why would you pay for such a game? Is it really worth it? I’m here to answer those questions for you today!

Objective and Gameplay

You catch fish, and then you sell them for money. You use this money for upgrading your rod, boat,  buying bait, and inventory space. But, you can always spend more ROBUX to get more cash and inventory space. I’ll admit, I did purchase more inventory space for 15 ROBUX. Bait will give you a better chance at catching more rarer fish. Also, you’ll catch Old Boots and Seaweed here and there. It just occupies your inventory space, but goes away when you go sell your fish. If you try to fish in higher tier water with higher tier bait, you’ll just be wasting your money because it doesn’t work.

It’s easy to fish. All you do is click anywhere in the water of your rod’s tier, and you wait until you hear and see the “Catch now!” I think this sparkles part is just for better chance at catching good fish. It moves around constantly. When you scroll over the water, it shows how high of tier that water is. Be sure to sell your fish from time to time, especially when your inventory gets full! Here’s the Shop. That “Back” button doesn’t work. You close the window by walking away.

Opinion

Even with a simple concept, and after playing for around 15 minutes, I found this game was decent. Not the most fun, but decent. But honestly, this game isn’t worth paying 25 Robux to initially play, especially since it has micro-transactions (or “Developer Products,” if you will).

Ratings

Gameplay – 6/10, it’s okay.

Scripting – 8/10, pretty well done. But I feel it could be a little better animated and the fact that that “Back” button serves no purpose.

Building – 10/10, it’s a really good looking game, and the lighting makes it beautiful. This is probably the only thing I really liked about this game.

Functionality – 9/10, runs pretty good. It was a little laggy for me though. Then again, my computer is old and weak.
