Merry RoGomas! Now, I’m no Santa Claus, or an elf.., or a reindeer.. or anything Christmas related, so here’s a Christmas related article for you!

The Valkyrie series is fairly expensive for many ROBLOXians (Valkyrie was 30,000 tickets before going Limited, Blackvalk is flat at 1,000,000 tickets), which labels the Valkyrie mesh as expensive.

The Festive Sword Valkyrie is an exclusive event item, and it is earned when you reach 10 wins in the ROBLOX Holiday edition of Sword Fighting Tournament, an extremely popular game made by TheGamer101. Many say that this is the best prize out of all the other prizes, and some say that it is straight up ugly. Hopefully, I can project my views of the Festive Sword Valkyrie through this post.

Appearance:

The mesh is taken from the normal Valkyrie Helm and Blackvalk, and it is a very well known mesh. This hat is obviously a retexture, and the texture and mesh go 50/50 in determining people’s opinions. To me, the texture isn’t the best. I feel that it could be improved in many areas, but I do not know how it could be improved. Let’s start with the frontpiece.

I don’t like this part at all. What is is supposed to look like? It resembles a snowflake of sorts, but I don’t think that it projects the image of a snowflake all that well. Green “gems” (I have no idea what they are) fill up the holes on the snowflake, but I feel that they’re out of place. They just don’t seem to fit in that well. If the snowflake looked more like, well.. a snowflake, I think it would look a lot better. As for the green gems, they could trace the center of the snowflake’s structure.

This would be the gist of how I think it would look. Of course, the entire snowflake wouldn’t fit, otherwise, it would be too small. Crop part of the snowflake out, and you would have a decent pattern. The snowflake would have the green follow along it’s pattern, and the green could still keep the gem’like texture to it. This is my personal opinion on how it should look, but my sub-par retexturing skills won’t allow me to change it to my preference.

The earpieces look fine to me, I like them. Red gemstones, sword blades, small details to the sides, these are great. I don’t have any ideas for changes, I would say these are the best part of the helm.

Price:

Absolutely free. Well, kind of. You’ll have to dedicate your time on Sword Fighting Tournament to earn this, and to be very honest, it isn’t too hard. All you have to do, is snag 10 wins during this year’s holiday season. If you’re a god-tier sword fighter, good news, this should take you a few minutes to earn. If you aren’t the good, do not fret, there are plenty of different gamemodes that can allow you to snag a few free wins (if your team does well).

Just dedicate a bit of your time, play the game, and BAM! Free hat! (Don’t forget to keep a lookout for the Snowman’s Hat as well!)

Just remember, when the event ends, you cannot obtain this hat. (There is no set date on when it ends, but I’m fairly certain it will last up until Christmas, at the least.)

Overall:

Appearance: 7/10. I think it could be better, but it still looks good. Of course, this is my opinion, yours can be completely different. If you like it, great. If you don’t, great.

Price: 10/10. Nothing beats free, so why not pick this up?

Happy RoGomas everybody!
