The average ROBLOX murder game features maps, survivors, weapons, and of course, the killer. However, there is a newer breed of murder game in town. Its name is Insanity, and it is unlike any murder game you have ever played before. There is no ‘sheriff’ to prevent the murderer from killing. Players can’t defend themselves from the killer, and the murderer has some powers to use against the survivors…
Game Overview
Insanity, which was built and created by billybob1, is a hide-and-go-kill murder game that will surely bring chills up your spine! Insanity has three maps to play on – the catacombs (my personal favorite), the hotel, and the shopping mall. A killer is randomly chosen from the group of players and whoever is chosen gets to pick which form of killer he or she wants to be. Insane Killer is currently the only option, but there are more forms coming.
The killer is armed with a knife and is the only person who can kill in the game. The killer also has different powers, such as the maniacal laugh. The other players, known as survivors, only have a flashlight to guide them through the dark and creepy maps.
The game is split into rounds, with each round lasting 2-3 minutes. If the killer does not kill all of the survivors within those minutes, the living survivors win and receive points. If the killer does kill all of the survivors, he or she receives points. These points can be spent in the Shop to buy cooler and more effective flashlights.
Insanity was a popular game but 1billybob1 made the game inactive. However, the hide-and-go-kill game eventually was opened to the public once again due to popular demand. Not many people play the game now, as they left Insanity because it shut down. Insanity is currently open, but 1billybob1 states in the description: When I decide to, I’ll close it when I want.
Compatibility
Insanity appears to work fine on all devices. Mobile and older devices will experience lag and some slight glitching. Insanity very rarely crashes, so it is best to use a newer device to play.
Author’s Review
Joining my first Insanity server was overwhelming. There was a timer in each round, and a record of living survivors was kept, as well. To my luck, I was a killer in one of my first four rounds! I grew to love this game and it will forever be in my Favorites list, even if it shuts down again. I’m not much of a fan of murder games, but Insanity is a huge exception!
There are no flaws in the scripting. I haven’t found any bugs in Insanity yet. I love how some flashlights, like the Disco Flashlight, are whimsical and funny while they help illuminate the dark maps. I also like how Insanity puts you to the test by finding the best dark hiding spots so that the killer can’t find and kill you. In conclusion, this is one of the best ROBLOX murder games out there, and it definitely needs more attention now that it has opened up again. I would rate Insanity 8/10 stars.
