Work at a Pizza Place: Revisited

After our last visit to Work at a Pizza Place by Dued1, we’ve decided to come back, and see the major overhaul and improvements that took place shortly after our previous review. And no, the thumbnail is not all that has changed, but you can find out what did, and our new take on this classic.

Introduction

Updated 1 week ago and with just over 22,630,982 visits (that’s 2,000,000 from our last look), Work at a Pizza Place has undergone a major overhaul. Now with new and improved odering NPC’s, new pizza boxes, and more. Oh, and did we mention highly-customizable houses? That’s right. Throw the ultimate party.

In fact, see the whole list of updates on the game page.

Game-play

Don’t worry; the update didn’t ruin the classic game-play you used to play back in the old days when this game had just started. It’s all the same, in fact. Work as a Pizza Boxer, Delivery Man, Supplier, Manager, Cashier, and if you have good gloves, a Cook. Each role basically describes the task. For example, if you are a Pizza Boxer, simply drag the pizza completed by the Cook, and put it into the box. The box will close if the Cook got the order right, then you put it on the conveyor belt. The belt will take the completed masterpiece to the delivery station. Delivery personnel take the box and drive it to the respected owner’s house in their car, but just watch for those giant supply trucks.

Opinion

What can I say, it’s a classic! I have a fun time working as a employee with the company. The scripting is great, the update’s are fantastic and definitely welcomed (It’s about time this happened, manager) and we look forward to seeing the future.

Rating

Game-play: 9/10 – Watch for those pesky managers and violating employees.

Scripting: 10/10 – Dued1 has came up with great scripting abilities making this possibly the best pizza game around.

Building: 9/10 – However the building style and structures didn’t have an overhaul, it’s still great. It’s easy to see it’s not just 4 bricks slapped together quickly.

Functionality: 9/10 – We didn’t see any major functioning issues.
