Welcome back to another RoGo Update! It has been a while since I’ve posted one of these. Since the last update, RoGo has turned four years old! We have improved a lot since the early days, back when we were simply an in-game GUI based magazine, to the point in which we are now, an online blog. I’d like to thank everyone who has stuck around us since the beginning. We wouldn’t be doing this if it wasn’t for YOUR awesome support.
So lets go over everything that has happened since my last RoGo Update in August. First, if you did not notice, we have a new section on the sidebar. We call this, “RoGo Bits.” If something new pops up, either on ROBLOX or with RoGo, and it’s not big enough to create a full article, we will write-up a small summary of the new thing. These bits will also be tweeted from the RoGo Twitter account, so make sure you’re following it so that you receive all the news and updates!
Back in July, we announced our new mascot, Red the Red Panda. I just wanted to address him again, because you’ll be seeing him a lot.
We have a few new staff members! If you haven’t noticed yet, our staff is entirely volunteer based. People come and go since they are not restricted to a long term job, so we always need new employees! If you haven’t seen all the new staff members, you can check out the article here.
Community articles are something we released back in February. However, we haven’t really used this feature much. If you don’t know what community articles are, they are articles written by the community. Our staff will then pick out articles that they like and will publish them. The articles will also go through our editing process to make sure they are error free. Once published, they will then show up on the RoGo website be tweeted out by our Twitter account. Your name will be displayed as the author along with a link to your ROBLOX profile. If you want to write one, you can read the instruction guide by Zytx.
To promote community articles even further, we have something special planned for December. As a month long “Christmas present”, we plan on releasing a community article every few days. In preparation, I’m letting everyone know a month early. Don’t procrastinate, or it might be too late! Write your article as soon as you can!
That covers about everything for this update! Happy reading!
