Anticipated Games of Summer 2015
Hey RoGo Readers! Now that summer is in full swing, ROBLOX developers are getting more time to work on their amazing creations and share them with you. I’ve found 5 games that will be coming out this summer that I think are particularly noteworthy in their own awesome ways. Some will be releasing very shortly, while others might not even get released this summer. Either way, each game on this list has its own special appeal that I think each of you should check out at least once.
Miner’s Haven by Berezaa
In Berezaa’s newest tycoon, players can own their own mine, upgrading it and adding new features using their earnings from minerals produced. This game is set to release on June 13th, and from what I’ve heard from early-access testers, it is a lot of fun. What differentiates this from Berezaa’s other tycoon games, such as Gun Factory Tycoon, is the ability to place and move the buyables in your tycoon, an idea which has been seen before, but never really become popular. This new addition to Berezaa’s tycoons should make for an interesting new spin on tycoons.
Roblox Dodgeball by Alexnewtron
Alexnewtron returns this summer with a brand new remake of his older hit, Dodgeball! Challenge your friends in the epic battle between the Red and the Blue as they battle for domination of multiple different courts with taunts and other fun new additions. ROBLOX Dodgeball is set to release on June 12th.
TNT Rush by Red Penguin Productions
If you’ve ever played the Minecraft minigame TNT Run, get ready for the newest ROBLOX-made version of it. Featuring 3 different game modes, costumes, custom ROBLOX textures, and plenty of other fun things, this game will hook you and want to make you play for hours. This is a group game, made by Red Penguin Productions, and is set to release on July 3rd.
Splat Attack by Aurarus
Based on the popular Wii U game, Splatoon, comes a brand new ROBLOX version by Auraus, the creator of Mario Adventure Obby. In this remake, you’ll find the gameplay a lot smoother and more fun than other remakes, and best of all, you’re actually squid-like! Customization and other features are still to come, since this is in a very early Beta, but it is still lots of fun without them. There is no set release date yet, but you can try it out for free now.
Urbis by Gusmanak and ZolarKeth
Gusmanak and ZolarKeth, creators of Apocalypse Rising, have returned with another awesome looking game, set in a normal world instead of post-apocalyptic. Players can get a job, buy a house, and live a normal ROBLOXian life, while interacting with other players, relaxing, and having fun. Although it has very little content, the duo will be focusing on its development throughout this summer and will be revealing a release date later.
Each of these games look particularly interesting and should turn out awesome in the near future. If you have any other games that you feel should have been mentioned, feel free to leave a comment with a link to the game. Happy Summer RoGo!
