RoGo Update - April 2015

Welcome back to another round of updates! Unfortunately, we didn’t get around to one last month. It was very busy for most of us here at RoGo. Good news is that we are back and we have a bunch of new things for you!

Canine and Feline Equality

This is a big one. Due to recent complaints from our small, but vocal canine and feline community, we decided to get rid of colors completely! Apparently they felt excluded from everyone on how they cannot see as many colors as us human.

Flanking Frontier - Interview with the Creators

What types of games have you played recently? Murder Mystery? Apocalypse Rising? Call of Robloxia 5? 2 Player Gun Factory Tycoon? If you have, and you love battles with guns, swords, and above all, winning, then sit back and learn about Flanking Frontier. Though, if you’ve ever played Heli-Wars by DrewsomeB, you’ll quickly notice that the layout is almost the same, but with more detail and an amazing twist to the game play.

I had the chance to interview the creators of Flanking Frontier, bluejays1236 and Rocketgamer10.…

HEX - A Game Where You Shoot People. But Only Sometimes.

Hex is fun. So, yeah, I may have already said it with Risky Strats, but hey, there’s more than one seat on the couch, and Hex deserves that seat. Which is probably why I’m talking about it. Did I mention I like to ramble?

Hex is a pretty basic ROBLOX shooter, but here’s the thing; I’m actually good at it sometimes. The premise is basically you’re some sort of life form that is battling other life forms. There’s actually a pretty interesting lore in this thing if you really dig deep.…

Port Gloom - A New Eye Pleasing Wonder

There’s a new showcase out there, and those who read my articles can guess I am quite fond of showcases. Port Gloom by asimo3089 is a highly detailed port-themed town with loads of areas to explore.

The screenshots could speak for me.

Gameplay

Once you step foot in this world, considering that your computer can handle it, you are found to be standing on a small bridge, surrounded by beautiful scenery and ships out in the ocean. Even without hitting the ‘W’ key once, you can instantly tell that exploring the map will be a wonder.…

Widgeon’s Fresh Take on Ro-Mining

Posted 3 years ago by OverlyAttachedDev

Widgeon has made a few popular games in the past, such as the Lumber INC series, and Mini Golf. His latest instalment follows the ‘INC’ name, Mining INC!

Gameplay

I jumped in the game and from experience, I immediately knew where to go first, the truck shop (W&U)! The environment was stunning, all of the building is state-of-the-art in this game. Despite being a totally different concept, this game still takes on most of the mechanics used in Lumber INC.…

Let's Get Tiny w/ Tiny Tanks! (Game Review)

Hello readers, I’m here to give you a look at a game the admins are going bananas over, Tiny Tanks! This fast-paced game was created by ArceusInator.

GAMEPLAY:

When I first got into Tiny Tanks, I knew I was in for an exciting experience. (I also met some pretty nice admins :D)

Since this game is still in progress, not much is on the table. But still, there is so much fun to have. You start off with a tank and basic bullets.…

Bloodfest Returns: Are YOU Ready to Fight?

Bloodfest, initially a submission to the Game Creation Contest (GCC) launched by Roblox admins in October 2014, has grown to be a gaming experience far larger than your stereotypical Roblox shooter. Game creator doneyes obviously felt the need to revive Bloodfest – with only roughly 20-40 players in the game prior to the update, he has now bumped it to the front page of top earning games, with over a hundred players on a weekday morning.

The new game employs relatively the same fighting features as the old one (highlighted in this article), but features a massive, new, industrial map in which the humans spawn and beat back legions of bloodthirsty mutants with unlimited ammunition and top quality firearms.…

New Chat Bubbles and Game Page

ROBLOX recently released a new update, regarding one of their most prominent in-game futures—communication.
The iconic ROBLOX chat bubble that has remained the same for [however many years] has finally been revamped, causing some discord in the community. Some like the new bubble chat, progressively becoming more transparent as you enter more. Not only are these player chat blurbs updated, but NPC chats have been, too. To signify what type of bubble it is, a strip of a color will be at one side.…
