Workclock Headphones

Hello, Ukenagashi here, bringing you another review. Tonight, I’m going to be reviewing the Workclock Headphones, a hat released on 15/August/2014 for 3’000R$.

Click on the image to view in the Catalog!

Appearance:

The Workclock Headphones are an inverted version of the Clockwork Headphones, an expensive Limited item. The difference is very obvious.

These are Clockwork’s Headphones, not Workclock.

The black turns white, and the white turns black!

The texture isn’t too hard to invert, there’s two solid colours that you need to change, and that’s about it. …

Labor Day Sale 2014

Labor Day is coming up, so that means ROBLOX is having their annual Labor Day sale.  Each year, ROBLOX ask the players which items they want to go on sale, go limited, or come back on sale at a reduced price.

The items are currently on sale and in the catalog. You can click the picture for each item to take you to that item’s page. These items will only be on sale during the Labor Day weekend. They will return to their original price afterwards.…

Farming is Fun with Friends

Farming with Friends is a game by TheNickmaster21. It is currently in Alpha stages, but has already accumulated over 100,000 place visits. Even though the game is still being built, it’s already amazing. The goal of the game is to build a farm, harvest crops, and get money.

Gameplay

You start off in a large, vegetated map filled with trees, rocks, and grass, along with 6 different tools: Build, Plant, Harvest, Chop, Mine, and Examine. These tools, which can be cycled through using the Q and E keys, are used to create your farm.…

HHCL—Deserving More Hardcore Players

Grab your sticks and skates (and possibly some ROBUX), it’s Hardcore/Hard Coded Hockey time!

HHCL Hockey (found here and here) is, with devotion, a league and game deserving more recognition. Created by Baumz, the games possess a complex coded system. Not only are the games open to public, but there is also an actual league through Roblox clans and private servers. The game provides a hockey ambiance and allows you to take control of your own hockey player.

Gameplay

The gameplay includes the aspects of a normal hockey game; defend your net, and score goals.

Catalog Review #1 - Place Themed Gears!

Hello again, folks! Today I’m here with a Catalog Review of 3 unique gear items; Staff of Double Disasters, Death Run 2 Shoes and the Mad Murderer Knife. All of these gears fit the genre of place-themed gears, so I thought it would be appropriate to review them in this article.

Staff of Double Disasters

R$ 500

Appearance:

First let’s start off with The Staff of Double Disasters. At first glance, the staff looks pretty cool. The mesh is one of my favourites, with a weather themed touch to it.…

New Game UI

New Game UI

ROBLOX recently updated their game UI with a new “minimalist” design. The most noticeable change is the menu button, which had an image change along with a major relocation. The button moved from the bottom left to the top left, and the image changed from a transparent home to 3 solid bars floating above each other.

Among the developer community, this is a pretty annoying change. A lot of games have custom chat or other GUIs placed in the top left, and with the new UI change, it requires developers to move around their GUIs to prevent overlay.…

Guide to Filtering and RemoteFunctions/Events

I’m going to start off this post by saying that this tutorial is for the more advanced programmers. If you are just beginning to learn Lua, you may want to stick around and wait for some of our other tutorials before you come to this one.

“Why are you writing this then, Lion? :c” some of you may be thinking. Well, I’ve been hearing a lot of chat in the developer’s community with people saying filtering is pointless and confusing. I, for one, was much like this.…

The Hit Game You Haven't Heard of Yet

ScriptOn, a recognized ROBLOX developer, is currently making his fifth first-person shooter (FPS) and it is going to be awesome. The game, Lazaretto (laz·a·ret·to), is currently in Pre-Alpha stages, and is expected to be released by the end of this year. Development of Lazaretto has been wildly successful so far with as many as 50 people watching him make the game on twitch. For those of you who missed out on everything so far, I’m here to tell you all about it.…
