Economic Reasoning of Tickets being Discontinued

Posted 1 year ago by Zaqre

Please read into the blog post by ROBLOX here.

Some things that you should know is that every Ticket, or Tix as we call it, competes with the ROBUX portion of the economy. Thus, since games have become more popular, every ticket earned slightly degrades ROBUX.

This is what I mean by degrading the Tix or Ticket:

Every place visit grants 1 Ticket. A million place visits is therefore a million Tickets. For that million tickets to exist (based on a 17.000 TCR*), it takes 59,000 R$ to keep those Tickets worth something.

Top 5 Old Games of ROBLOX

Introduction

Hello, RoGo readers! It’s been a while since I wrote an article, a non-tutorial at that! Anyways, I have been playing ROBLOX since November 18, 2008. I used to play games for hours on end. Unfortunately, many of them have died off either because of updates breaking their scripts, or people just don’t enjoy them anymore. But that’s why I will be telling you about my personal 5 favorite old ROBLOX games! Unfortunately, these are all broken in some way, or have been modernized a lot to the point where they’re not as enjoyable, and cannot fulfill my nostalgia.…

GAMES

Oh boy, were these weeks full of amazing games!

My top three favorites would be the long awaited The Stalker: Reborn (fangirl scream) by Clonetrooper1019 being at the top of my list, since I’ve been waiting for this to come out for a very long time, and I mean a LONG time!…

Verbatim (Series 2, Issue 1)

Hello readers! I, Superale24, bring you back Verbatim, a bi-weekly recap of current ROBLOX events! Please note, Verbatim is just a brief overview of the week, so everything is short and sweet. If I talk about a game, I don’t do the review, that’s for another article, another day.  Also, this is a bit of an editorial too, as I talk about current events and such. So without further adieu, I bring you Verbatim!

GAMES

Of course, Dragon Rage by Tiger12289 (Hey, that’s my boss!), along with The Normal Elevator by DoTheHarlemShake, were popular games last week.…

Blasts from the staff!

Welcome all RoGo Readers! Today, let’s hear from the staff of RoGo, including myself, about their favorite ROBLOX game(s) of all time! They also gave a brief description of why they like it. This article’s idea is by lion2323: the RoGo CEO! However, I only received 6 staff member’s submissions, so only 7 favorites are shown here. =(

NOTE: Click the game title to open a new tab/window to the game.

The Reality of Solid Modeling

The Reality of Solid Modeling

*This article is based on the author’s opinions on and experiences with solid modeling.*

I just spent hours making a replica of the Square Stand in ROBLOX. The Square Stand has a very simplistic design, as it is an iPad stand with an integrated card reader. It should have taken me at most an hour to replicate this in ROBLOX Studio, and it did. Creating this stand was simple, but trying to union the parts with solid modeling was not, in every way.…

Managing Roblox With School

Managing Roblox With School

/

One of the major issues I have with ROBLOX is trying to make time for it as l as prioritize  my school work.  As a Sophomore in High School, this does not get any easier. I get around 2-3 hours of homework every night, as well as an  hour for studying. I also have to attend basketball practice. Because of these reasons, I did not have much time to write articles for RoGo. Now that my grades are improving, I have more free time on my hands, and I’ve decided to write this article to help other readers that are experiencing this same dilemma better understand this issue.…
